Born and raised in Golden BC, Peggy moved to Edmonton AB, in 1985 to attend the University of Alberta in the Honours Sociology/Philosophy program. Judi May was born and educated in Alberta, and began teaching in British Columbia in 1972 after completing a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary. After a successful teaching career, she continued with her interests in art and began pursuing the fascination of becoming a silversmith in 2000.
