Born and raised in Golden BC, Peggy moved to Edmonton AB, in 1985 to attend the University of Alberta in the Honours Sociology/Philosophy program. After graduating and working in the academic environment for a few years, her husband, Jo Ludwig and Peggy moved to Victoria BC, where they opened KilnArt Glass Studio in 1997.

Bonnie studied to be a graphic artist and over the years has worked in several different mediums. A number of years ago she took courses in stained glass and fused glass. Fusing became her passion. She works from her studio, Rocking Waters, which is located at her home. The studio looks into a beautiful garden with ponds and waterfalls and she says much of her inspiration comes from her garden.

Aila has been involved in various art forms over the years, such as oil painting, sketching, and photography. She is now finding that she's able to utilize the skills acquired from her previous experiences in her glass work. Aila began working with stained glass four years ago, and has since added fused glass to her repertoire.

Jacqueline Cornford was born and raised in Hastings, Sussex, England. She trained in Fine Arts and specialized in mural decoration and stained glass in London. For one year, she worked as a student in the commercial studio of artist Patrick Reyntiens, who executed the Baptistry window at Coventry Cathedral, and with John Piper, she co-designed and executed the glass at the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Liverpool.

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Donna was drawn to artistic and creative endeavours in her childhood. She began studying the art form of working and creating with Stained Glass in 1977. Having completed an Interior design course in 1976, she found that her love of creating harmony through the balancing of colour and design lent itself to unique and inspirational expressions in Glass.

Patricia started making stained glass items and repairing antique windows and cabinet panels for friends and family more than ten years ago. As time went on, Patricia found herself doing more and more sophisticated projects and requiring more expensive equipment. Thus, to finance her hobby, she began selling at craft fairs and doing custom work. This lead to the creation of her home based business Glass Art by Patricia Gower in May of 2000. Today Patricia's work is sold in numerous sites including The Royal B.C. Museum, The Greater Victoria Art Gallery, and The Sooke Regional Museum.

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Jo came to Canada in 1977. In 1983, he completed a Heavy Duty Mechanic apprenticeship, and in 1986, enrolled at the University of Alberta in the Philosophy Honours program, after which he went on to graduate studies in Philosophy of Art. In 1996, his wife, Peggy Brackett and Jo moved to Victoria BC, where they opened KilnArt Glass Studio in March of 1997. In 2008, they moved house and studio to Crofton, B.C.

I have been fascinated with beading, jewellery making and putting it together since I was a teenager when I produced and sold my jewellery creations at the local market. My obsession evolved to torching my own glass beads and using them as inspiration for my jewellery designs. This glass obsession continued with kiln formed artglass and the production of functional, artful and sculptural glass pieces.

Lisa Samphire is Canadian borne and began her glass blowing career in 1985. Since that time she has produced a diverse body of work, which includes private and public, sculptural and functional pieces. Over the years she has been recognized and applauded for her glasswork through the receipt of various awards, scholarships, teaching appointments and commissions.
