Carol Spencer-Mayser is a jewellery designer who lives on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. With a studio that overlooks the Straits of Georgia, some of her key influences come from the ocean and sky, drawing the colours, textures and moods of the shoreline landscape into one-of-a-kind necklaces, earrings and bracelets.
Carol's designs are fresh and articulate. They are soft, loud, subtle and bold. A single stone of Labradorite can mesmerize; Carneilian set among pearls can entice; flecks of teal and brown in a smooth wash of Turquoise can inspire. All come from the earth and sea, and all have their own history.
What drives her work is the beauty and energy of the stones and pearls themselves. Shape, texture and balance are the key elements to Carol's designs. She uses everything from stunning pendants to Carol believes beautiful jewellery can create a polished look for any woman and, with unique accessories, a woman can express her special individuality.facetted gemstones and crystals to seed beads and nuggets. She works both in sterling silver and gold to create studio pieces as well as commission jewellery. Each piece is finely worked and finished for fluidity, comfort and sturdiness.
