"Lovemonkey" was born in 2005 just after Andrea Soos discovered she was pregnant with her son. After finding it difficult to track down unique, quality toys and clothing, she began to create products for kids that were original and retained that "handmade" look. Soon monsters were invading her studio as her drawings turned into stuffed monster dolls, funky and fun t-shirts, printed journals, block-printed stationery and the occasional glitter-covered animal!
Andrea is still experimenting with new products. After months of watching her son and his friends happily playing with the little painted people she made for him, she decided to venture into the world of little dolls. What better than one-of-a-kind, custom, non-toxic, traditional toys for imaginative play? These little people are made with love and care. Andrea's hope is that they will bring smiles to the little people in your life.
