My works are little flights of fancy, whimsical stories painted with fabric, designed to evoke a smile. I use a variety of textures, a full palette of colour and interesting stitching to create each piece. While some come together in two or three days, others take a week or more to tell me how they want to look.
I have always loved working with fabric and am basically self taught, except for short courses in design and drawing.
Inspiration is all around me and I draw on my Hungarian heritage and prairie upbringing for my designs. In this frenetic age, make room for the imagination in these small pleasures created simply to delight.
Commissions are welcome. My prices range from $39 to $129. I am a member of the Island Artisans Association - and I make fun, funky ties too!
