For many years Heather A. Hamilton observed other artist's unique silver jewellery. An opportunity arose in 2002 for her to take a basic silversmithing course taught by instructor Judith Hirczy in Victoria and Heather was drawn into the world of silversmithing.
Based on the philosophy that simplicity can equal elegance, Heather handcrafts her original sterling silver jewellery to adorn the human body in a way which highlights one's apparel or one's natural being. Her designs are soft and flowing. Many of her creations incorporate semi-precious stones.
Heather has displayed her work at the "She Said" Gallery in Victoria, at the Sidney Artist's Gallery, at the Sooke Fine Art Show, in the Visions Art Tour in the Cowichan Valley and at the Arts On The Avenue Show in Ladysmith.
