Andrea Bailey was born in Victoria, BC and attended Camosun College and the University of Victoria. After expanding her horizons living across Canada, she now makes her home in a quaint neighbourhood near downtown Victoria. Always drawn to creative outlets, she focuses her career around her unique artistic talents.
Her accomplishments over the past 18 years are numerous. She has created a wonderful line of children's clothing; designs one-of-a-kind wearable art clothing and accessories; presently teaches daily sewing classes to children and adults; and has been commissioned to design and produce personal garments.She organizes local fashion shows for designers of one-of-a-kind wearable art clothing, through her company, "Exclusively Yours Fashion Shows and Sales". She also displays at shows like those exhibited by the Canadian Quilters' Association.
Andrea's designs are often inspired by the ruggedness of the West Coast. She puts a great deal of thought into creating reversible and washable clothing. Many hours are invested discovering and choosing fabrics for every individual garment. Jackets, vests and coats emerge and evolve into original art forms.
