Combining traditional silversmithing with the ancient Korean technique of keum-boo and the latest developments in sintering technology, Susan Ellenton makes inspired jewelry featuring 99.9% pure silver.
In 1973, fresh out of high school, Susan began work as a silversmith’s assistant in Auckland New Zealand. Returning to Canada, she began to develop her own designs through the 1980’s under the name Stardust Arts, showing her work in numerous gallery shows and artisan fairs from Toronto to the Yukon.
Currently, Susan Ellenton's West Coast-inspired designs are featured at The Avenue Gallery in Oak Bay, at Hollyhock on Cortes Island, and at The Butcharts Gardens gift store.
