Iona Wheatley began working with stained glass about 22 years ago on Cortez Island located in the straits east of Vancouver Island, learning from a local stained glass artisan. About twelve years ago, Iona and her husband moved to Campbell River, at which time she became more involved in her craft. She eventually took over the Raindrop portion of her business from a friend that had been creating them, and since that time has introduced fused glass into her repertoire of glass items. The Westcoast and the ocean definitely influence her work. Iona provides workshops by request.
