Note: when you create a new publication type, the articles module will automatically use the templates user-display-[publicationtype].xd and user-summary-[publicationtype].xd. If those templates do not exist when you try to preview or display a new article, you'll get this warning :-) Please place your own templates in themes/yourtheme/modules/articles . The templates will get the extension .xt there.

An Open Letter to BC Finance Minister re: Arts Cuts in the Budget

At the General meeting on March 2, the membership passed a motion calling for a response to the cuts to arts funding in the February 17 BC Budget. The following open letter was sent March 5 to Finance Minister Colin Hansen, Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Bill Bennet, Official Oppostion Arts and Culture Critic Spencer Herbert, the writer's MLA Maurine Karagianis and the Victoria media. It will also be sent to local arts and culture groups.
